What's This Training About!
This class will examine kinesics and proxemics in the context of interpersonal communication and threat behavior. Kinesics refers to the interpretation of body movements—including facial expressions, gestures, and posture—as nonverbal communication. Proxemics focuses on how individuals use and perceive physical space to convey messages, with varying distances indicating levels of intimacy, social connection, dominance, or submissiveness.

Situational Awareness Training Interpersonal Domain
Jacobson Training and Consulting LLC will provide a distinctive training experience at the Linden Sportsmen Club in 2026. This program is designed for civilian enhancement of observation skills. It is part of a series focused on situational awareness, drawing from both classic and contemporary research on human behavior. The training includes classroom exercises, role-playing, scenario evaluations, and opportunities to discussion and sharing real-life experiences. The Interpersonal Domain serves as the foundation for Situational Awareness, making it an excellent starting point since the topics are relatable to everyday life.
Registration for this training class is through the Linden Sportsment Club.
